Every year the kids participate on the local swim team. They get up at 6:45 am for the first two months of summer for hour long practices. It's grueling but they love it. On Saturdays they have swim meets. I try to keep track of their times to show them how they just keep getting better and better.
Cameron's favorite stroke is breaststroke. Her best time in the 25 yard breaststroke this year was 28:46 seconds.
Her next favorite stroke is freestyle. This year she swam 50 yard races. Her best time was 51:30 seconds.
She also swims butterfly. It's not her best stroke but she's working on getting better at it. Her best time for the 25 yards was 29:38 seconds.
I think one of her greatest loves, though, is participating in relays. She signs up for every one, every meet.
