Dallin and Cameron stayed home and babysat while I was gone. They take such good care of their little sister. I have an inclination that this summer isn't going to be as hard as I thought with two amazing babysitters at hand!

Memorial Day
It rained most of the morning on Memorial Day so we took the kids to see Kung Fu Panda 2. It was cute but I mostly enjoyed listening to Austin laugh out loud. It just cracks me up. Evelyn sat on Ryan's lap and quietly watched most of the movie. She's amazing.
We made it to the cemetery a little after 4 pm. Just in time for the sun to come out and warm things up, a little. As we drove there with the flowers for Lilian's grave I had this overwhelming feeling that all my kids were together for just that moment. It was a wonderful feeling.

Helicopter Ride
Last Saturday Dallin's buddy Trevor called and asked if Dallin wanted to go for a helicopter ride. I almost laughed out loud thinking it was a joke until I remembered that Trevor's parents are pilots.
Here are the pictures Ryan took as Dallin flew over the house.
Dallin said he had a blast and was only a little scared when he was climbing into the helicopter because the blades were still turning. He said the flight was a lot of fun, though, and he never even thought about being scared. I've only been in a helicopter once, flying over Maui, and I remember having trouble breathing, I was so scared. My son is so brave.

Graduation
Last week was such a busy week. Along with Cameron's program we had a kindergarten assessment, two class parties, two end of the year fieldtrips, two class treats, a track meet, piano lessons, gymnastics, track practice, church activities, and lots and lots of rain! It was crazy and exhausting and I finally figured out towards the end of the week that I needed to be wearing my running shoes.
And at the end of it all... Dallin graduated from elementary school! What a big day. All of the sudden time seems to have flown by and my first kindergartner is now my first in Jr. High. I feel much more nervous about sending my little boy to Jr. High than I did about sending him to kindergarten but I have a feeling he's going to love it. I'm so proud of the young man he's becoming and enjoy watching him have new experiences. He has a confidence I didn't have at that age and I think he's going to do great. I, on the other hand, am going to be a nervous wreck. Good thing I have a summer to gear up for it.
Dallin loved his teacher this year!
Dallin's friend Trevor.
Dallin and Maddison had preschool together. It's crazy that I've lived here long enough to see both of them graduate together. They started out as super good buddies and ended up a little shy around each other. It makes me laugh.
Grandma was able to come to each of the kids programs. Thanks Grandma.
Dallin just edited this post for me. Its nice to know he learned good skills in elementary school. :)

Cameron's Program
Cameron's class program was on May 23rd.
She had a little part in the program and then sang many classic American celebration songs. Of course the one I remember best is Fifty Nifty United States. I remember singing that one in fourth grade. It's been around for a while.
