Sometime back in August Dallin's pet Brownie died. We're pretty sure it was painless since it just looked like he was sleeping but Dallin was anxious to get a pet that was a little more friendly. He really wanted gerbils but I told him I wasn't going to allow any more stinky pets until the baby was out of diapers. (It's gonna be a while). So he asked if he could have a beta fish instead. I thought that was a much better idea. He keeps it in his room and feeds it and cleans it without me having to see or smell it. It's a good arrangement.
