We are starting to realize that with how busy the kids are during school and the summer the best time for us to take a family vacation is during Spring Break. So this year we decided to rent a house with our good friends the Mickelsens in Flagstaff, Az. We left the day after Easter.
Tuesday morning, April 2nd the Dads went golfing so Kelly and I took all 9 kids (in my van) to see the cliff dwellings at Walnut Canyon. Good thing it was only a couple miles away. It was a chilly day but the view was amazing.
It was quite a climb down and then we had to be very careful walking along the edge of the cliffs.
I don't know how people actually lived here,
especially if they had 2 year olds. Good thing this 2 year old has a big brother that looks out for her!
Kelly and her beautiful, almost, five year old. She turned five on Friday.
