Outside?

Evelyn's learning lots of new words. She can say things like snack, kisses, uh oh, juice, and of course shoes. But she has another favorite word. As soon as it warmed up a little in March Evelyn learned to say "outside?" and it's always with a question mark because she is ALWAYS asking to go outside. She will stand at the windows and say it over and over again but when the kids get home from school, watch out, she goes up to each one of them and begs, "outside?" With four chances there are pretty good odds that someone will take her outside.

They pull her on the wagon and push her on the swing. They take her for walks and push her on the tricycle. It's heaven, for her and I!

I know I've had a lot of posts on Evelyn lately. We do tend to spend a lot of time together. But the other reason is that all the other kids have been so darn busy with school they've hardly had a second to do anything else. It seems like Dallin and Cameron have spent weeks working on papers and projects. It also made it hard to get caught up on my blog since they needed the computer for all their work. I'm actually looking forward to summer and getting more time to play together.

However, we did manage to find some time and used a little of our tax return to get Dallin and Austin new bikes. As soon as things slow down and the weather warms up we're outta here. We love to go for family bike rides, among other things, so we were anxious for Austin to ditch the training wheels. Finally, on March 13, he did it!
