Hard at Work

A few months ago Ryan got invited to go on a Hawaiian cruise for work! Rough, isn't it. So, Saturday Sept. 12th we flew to Honolulu and boarded the Pride of America.

The first thing we got to do was participate in an emergency drill (I think they call it the muster drill). I don't think you were supposed to take pictures so we'll blame Ryan's buddy for taking this secret shot.

That night we mostly wandered around and explored the boat. It didn't really give us much of a clue about how cruises work but we oriented ourselves a little bit. (There was an orientation that night that wasn't helpful at all because they were mostly trying to sell us on shore excursions. But don't worry, we figured it all out just about the time we got back to Honolulu the last day of our trip).
